Music videos were always major they were just made as little films

MTV was launched in 1981 as a platform for music videos and the first music channel on television.

5) How are music videos distributed and watched in the digital age?

In 2005 YouTube was introduced and that's where many artists and upcoming,starting artists would upload their new material.Nowadays self promotion is much more common.

Blinks the demographics are young woman and mostly teenage girls and the psychographics would be located in the Philippines  and Indonesia along with some other Western countries as well as the UK and US 2) What audience pleasures are offered by the music video for How You Like That? Diversion: music video conventions – performance, effects, fast pace etc. Personal relationships: Fan interaction online through social media is a key element of K-pop’s global success. Fans feel like they ‘know’ the band members. Personal identity: K-pop fandom often involves copying the look of band members and seeing their own style reflected on screen.
